Wikitravel Press launches first printed titles - Creative Commons

Wikitravel Press announced its first printed guidebooks, Wikitravel Chicago and Wikitravel Singapore. Like the Wikitravel site, the books are licensed under CC Attribution-ShareAlike, allowing sharing and adaption, including commercial uses.

Mike Linksvayer has some interesting things to say about this at the blog post linked above. I think it's important to note that the business model wouldn't be possible without the licence.

Congatulations to Evan and Wikitravel for continuing to demonstrate how far Free Culture can go both creatively and economically.
